Twin Peaks: Total NC. I wish there were more seasons, but I guess that may be the best part about it - it died before it had a chance to be ruined.

I have the first season box set.The brazilian edition features the pilot. Ha!

Yeah, I just borrowed the Season 1 boxed set from a friend, it comes with the pilot. It shouldn't be that big a deal for you folks to import it, and it may be actually cheaper than the US version.

The only DVD version of the pilot we can get in the US is a crappy Japanese bootleg type thing. I have it. It's not horrible but it basically looks and sounds like a VHS copy. At least it's cheap.

There is still talk of the FWWM DVD being rereleased with all the deleted stuff, too. I don't think it's going to happen soon though.

Today's the day

For Twin Peaks fans with cable/satellite and TiVo/DVR, there is a new all-horror channel called Chiller that is rerunning Twin Peaks. Most important, they reran the original U.S. broadcast pilot (previously only available via sketchy Japanese bootleg).

Oddly, they ran it as two separate consecutive episodes, so if you're recording, it cuts off (and resumes) in the middle of a scene. But it was good to see the original pilot again after so many years. Picture and sound quality were good.

Chiller doesn't have a ton of material to work with, so I'll bet they broadcast it again many times over.

Season Two was released yesterday.

All-night Peaks marathon open to Atlanta residents tonight. Bring food.
