whew I do love this record. some great, great ear rock candy.
the production is really nice, the story is creepier than tommy (from which it gleans several themes,) and the rock is good.
when there's filler, it's really bad though.
not crap WF 3

I'm surprised how many people share my opinion of this w.r.t. it being amazing at the age of 15 but kinda unlistenable now.
Had I not already made plans for the evening I would smoke a bowl, watch the film again and make notes.
I don't feel qualified to vote on this.

I saw the movie a bunch when I was younger and didn't really get into it. Then, the first time I ate mushrooms, I went out of my way to watch it...thought maybe I was missing something I guess.
I was wrong, it's still a shit movie.
I don't mind the record though. I don't really want to like it, but I can't deny that most of it sounds good to my ears.
Movie=Crap
Record=Not crap
