same goes for Herbie Hancocks Headhunters...i'm pretty sure that is pretty widely accepted. one of the biggest selling jazz records of all time.

I had a tape of Shel Silverstien reading from Where the Sidewalk Ends. I lost it after many a move. I can't find this tape again. So funny the voice reading "Sister For Sale" and others in that book.

In my recent quest to revist and document the music that came out of Seattle/the Northwest in the 80s and early 90s, I've reaqcainted myself with several records that have been well forgotten but that I still like or love.

I'm not entierly sure if this recording is applicable, but I sincerely enjoy Silkworm's Blueblood, and for the life of me cannot understand why, on the surface at least, it seems to be everyone's least favorite. Granted, I'm not as brushed up on their back catalogue as most of you, but, in my estimation there are some really nice songs on this album. I likey.

Einsturzende Neubauten's Tabula Rasa is another one that seems to get the short end of the stick. It's lovely.

Prince's Around the World in a Day might not be as cohesive as his other releases around the same period, but I love it just as much as Purple Rain, Under the Cherry Moon, and, Sign O' the Times.

Bratmobile Potty Mouth. What's not to like?

Any of the Fad Gadget albums.

One that I like that no one else seems to care about is the Liquid Liquid album.
