After virtually no thought given to the topic, I am going with 2 Fred Frith albums from the early 80s - Gravity and Speechless.

I'm not entierly sure if this recording is applicable, but I sincerely enjoy Silkworm's Blueblood, and for the life of me cannot understand why, on the surface at least, it seems to be everyone's least favorite. Granted, I'm not as brushed up on their back catalogue as most of you, but, in my estimation there are some really nice songs on this album. I likey.

Einsturzende Neubauten's Tabula Rasa is another one that seems to get the short end of the stick. It's lovely.

Prince's Around the World in a Day might not be as cohesive as his other releases around the same period, but I love it just as much as Purple Rain, Under the Cherry Moon, and, Sign O' the Times.
