I once had a haircut in a barbers on Electric Avenue in Brixton and they played this 11 times in a row whilst I was in there.
When I walked in the guy shouted out the back "Hey, can anybody cut European hair?"

I'm unashamedly keen on 'So Sick' by Ne-Yo. Fluffy r'n'b that wears its sappiness with pride.

Oh, and 'Young Folks' by Peter, Bjorn & John. I defy anyone to tell me that they can't appreciate this song.

Awesome song. I always thought the line was
"Gettin paid is her forté" but I just looked it up and it says
"Getting paid as a forty" which is silly. My way is better.
For En Vogue I have to go with Free Your Mind.

Grouped together under 'weekend anthems' in my house:
Architechs ft. Nene -
'Body Groove'. (
"You're on the dancefloor, making your rules; don't look around though, just do what you do. Live for the moment, take it in it's stride; 'cos you know that music really beats life!")
Michael Gray -
'Weekend'. I love this song without reservation.
Shakedown -
'At Night'. (
"Seems I can't deny, these days just don't feel right. I Think I'd feel much better at night.")
A video link for Rachel Stevens'
'Negotiate With Love'. I thought this was going to be a massive hit but it never seemed to take off.

Ah, I just
did it. We're fine here. As soon as you hear those opening lines - "My love has got no money - he's got his strong beliefs. My love has got no power - he's got his strong beliefs." - you'll be
right back there.
