From what I understand the Delays are really poorly built, so you guys might want to avoid them...

Yeah, I got one couple weeks ago. I'm loving it. my main preoccupation as a guitarist is "guitar as synth" trying to get as many non guitarish sounds out of the thing as possible. freqbox does exactly that. I'm planing to use it on some sungle string stuff, copping keybaord tones, and some special noise effects, with the hard sync. off.

These pedals are the fucking shit. Kinda pricey. Some are def worth the money, some are kinda high priced but what do you expect from moog. The delay is super expensive but it is incredibly seductive and I wanna take it to the limit every night and kiss it and stroke it and polish it.

TRIFECTA. I love that ring mod. it's definitely worht picking up if you can only have one. super versatile, and often very musical.

hi aen! I'm doing a similar thing, and have developed a hybrid guitar/keyboard/bass rig.

you can totally check out my sweet rig drawing (which is awesome) in this thread. I've figured some stuff out, and am still working on others. I'd love to hear about what you have running in your chain.

if you are lookign to get synthy sounds out of your guitar I highly recomend the PM7 its a phaser-ish box that works on Triangle and Squarewaves instead of round waves, it can go from a "edgey" classic phaser to a crazy ringmoded raygun, this with an Auto-wah and you get insane six finger satilite noise synths. and it a feedback it is just nuts, but really controlable...

I love my Mooger ring mod, but I sort f get addicted to using it, so I have to hide it from myself for a couple of weeks. Sort of like regulating my Doritos intake.
