I don't know about the interview, but the comments written below had my eyes watering for multiple reasons.
they flew to england just for talking they secrets in the airplane thats my guess ! and they use the moneys on the self fuck that parent dont blame on portuguise police they did a great job. The parents its the killer of they own daughter the truth gonna come soon thats 4 sure GUYS!!!!!!!!
FUCK ENGLISH PEOPLE AND WHO THOSE UPLOADED THOSE VIDEOS ABOUT THIS STORY ABOUT MCCANN DELETE ALL VIDEOS MAN
...
how come this mother took so much time to accessorise her outfits only days after her daughter vanished. she managed to match colours and belts and bows in her hair even in a time of great distress. weird... whether guilty or not they are a strange couple. i wouldn't want these two as my doctors.
...
i knew they were guilty the 1st moment i heard about this. It is written on their faces and they look close to breaking point. Guilt eats you up.The body would have been dumped in the sea and eaten by a shark, without a trace. why did they do it though? lose their temper or jealousy?
...
the dog picked up the scent of death on the teddy, it has been taken for further investigation. pretty cool, eh? clever, clever, dogs.
...
R.I.P Madeleine McCann. Doped up and killed by her mother, eaten by her father in that resteraunt.
...
The net is tightening Kate and Gerry. Are you ready? You're blatant guilt has never escaped my wits

YOU NEGLIGENT MONSTERS
Shit. This is fascinating for the stupidity, terribleness and hysteria. The comments above remind me of the letters that were written to local papers around the time of the Jack the Ripper murders.

73Unleashing the media beast will make the stakes increasingly high for the McCann's, whatever the outcome.
Oddly, I read in a Mail article that the Portuguese police had a similar case in which the mother, Joana Cipriano, turned out to be the killer. There were enough similarities that they began to look at the McCann's. The Sun then got wind of this and ran a story in which Cipriano's husband claimed his wife was framed by lazy policemen--all of which plays to The Sun's xenophobic readership. If you take the time read the details of the case, though there is next to no chance that Joana Cipriano was framed. Someone has taken the time post a refutation of the story to the Sun site:

There's been an inordinate amount of spin, of the type that you usually only identify with party political machines, which will eventually make everyone who has reported the case look somewhat tawdry by association.
Here Peter Horrocks, head of the BBC TV news, casts the first stone in the direction of other TV and Radio news outlets:
Horrocks warns on biased McCann reports.

74Three months ago, I wrote:The level of detail that I have been exposed to - not through reading idiot rags, either - disconcerts me, and as evident in the above, even angers me! It seems oddly disrespectful to zoom in on these individuals during such a horrific time, even if they are complicit in this focus due to a desperate hope that it will help. It is a gruesome version of "Big Brother", to me, hearing about the father going back and forth between England and Portugal, reading their vows, hearing of meeting the Pope, all of these little details that I have picked up without wanting to.
Looks like I've been drawn into what I was condemning. Hypocrite, I have some shame in that my own comments are only to condemn others passing slightly different judgments, but judgments all the same. Just being aware that this is a horrible media witchhunt and piss-storm is no excuse for participating in it.
But, it is disgustingly transfixing now that it has gone even crazier.

I think the parents did it. That's what my internal Cluedo board is telling me.

77This is clearly the time to speculate wildly about the motivations of the McCann's--especially given that they have allowed the good names of peadophiles Europe-wide to be sullied by their chicanery. It only seems fair.

78Or "Paedo Rock Forum". I didn't realise that we rolled that way. Now that's "Alternative"!

79I hope all of the bastards who put posters up and campaigned and "showed support" feel hideously ashamed and embarrassed after this whole thing. It has been as cringeworthy as the Diana stuff. "Great" Britain my ass.

Yeah, I really hope that nobody ever posters for a missing child again after this. Keep your sympathy in check next time, "Great" Britain, goddamnit!
This went a little further than a normal postering-for-missing-child effort. Of course, you already know that, having read the news, and you are simply being an antagonistic cunt.
