Who says you have to eat a whole slice? Or a slice at each place?
I don't even like/eat pizza but I would still participate.

This news saddens me (and will also sadden Itchy McGoo), because he was recently the world record holder for hot dog eating. Takeru was the six-time consecutive champion of Nathan's Famous hot dog-eating competition (among several other eating records).
Coward!

I'm turning 15, so stuffing my gut with encased meats will be a sort of a rite of passage for me.
15? Didn't you say that you graduated high school in 1985
in this thread?

OK Update:
I ate ate Sam's and Jimmy's this weekend, and then at Hot Doug's today. All were quite tasty.
I am still waiting for a quote via e-mail from the coach company about a trolley. If I don't hear from them by the end of the day, I will call tomorrow.
And I found out that the Vienna Beef Factory has shitty hours on saturday so they may be off the list...
Anyone have any more ideas/thoughts?

I would really love this to be for charity, but people haven't really responded to the idea. I think it should either be for dogs or hungry people. If it's for charity we can also approach the restaurants for free food.
If we do it that way, it could be like a walk-a-thon. Folks pay a registration fee up front for the tour, and then get pledges from friends and co-workers of a certain amount per dog eaten.

if we're going to do this for charity (which is a neat idea, but i don't think is necessary), i'd nominate
http://www.greyhoundsonly.com as a recipient of our obscene and disgusting generosity. they are chicago-based greyhound adoption group.
still not sure how to play the 'charity' aspect of this. i just want a huge lunch.

I shall be eating hot dogs in his honor on August 4th, 2007.

also if your going to do T-shirts you should order them this week... as T-shirt prices go up and down (like gas prices) and this week they are down about $.30 a shirt...
