As bad as all these songs are, the Barenaked Ladies one is probably the worst. It's so bad, it was very difficult for me to discuss it even this much.

i think my vote would go to bands that covered christmas songs. there's some version of that christmas song that goes 'christmas christmas time is near.. time for hope and time for cheer' (or something like that) and there's this top 40 version with some white dude singing in this stupid awful voice (although you can tell he's trying to be soulful) and everytime he gets to that point where he sings 'me, i want a hoooooola hooop' you can tell he closed his eyes because he really wanted to 'feel it'
