fucking great stuff. I like it a lot, especially "The Hero and the Madman," "Mama Nature Said," "Little Girl In Bloom," and "Gonna Creep Up On You," which is really damn funky for an Irish hard rock band.

This band is pretty underrated.

Only by fools, SecondEdition. I'm happy you no longer number yourself among them.

Since you're on the Eric Bell tip (original power trio line-up) get Thin Lizzy or Shades of a Blue Orphanage next. Then get Fighting and Johnny the Fox and Bad Reputation. Save Jailbreak for that bandana full of rush right before the money shot.

Eric Bell's missus did the sound for my old band once. She told us her husband played guitar and then after some quizzing told us it was Eric. My friend Iain from the band Part Chimp met Brian Robertson in a guitar shop a while back too.

I can't remember how to sort all the coding on these pages as it's been a while since I've been on, but the link below is Old Grey Whistle Test footage of Don’t Believe a Word.

It's a pretty good example of all that is great and good about Thin Lizzy, starts a bit slow but worth watching as it deals with everything you love about 70's rock too.

How they end the song is just text book!!

Is the one. Check out Robbo in the solo bit at the end. Yes, he is smoking a fag.

This whole video is god-like. I might have already said it but the world can be split nicely into people who like Lizzy and people who don't.

Thanks! Emerald is just plain great. I know what side of the world I stand on.

I listened to Vagabonds in its entirety today, a vinyl copy I got for Xmas and had never put on before. Sounded damn good. That solo at the end of "The Hero and the Madman" is too much.
