What s your most used ingredient when preparing a meal?

I was on this stupid dumb diet where all you ate/drank was this organic lemonade drink, which was lemon juice, water, grade b maple syrup and cayenne pepper. You were supposed to be on it for 10 days- I did not really have a problem with being hungry, but by day 5 I was drinking about 1/10th of what I was supposed to because of the damn cayenne pepper- I just couldn't take it anymore.

Now, whenever I try to use Cayenne pepper or grade B maple syrup in any recipe, I feel a little ill and can't eat it. Lemons, however, are not a problem.
