After listening to that song dozens of times by now, I don't hear it and as a result, I don't know that it matters. It certainly doesn't take away anything from the overall sonic impact of the recording.

He should record me in the AM and Willy Nelson in the PM, purely so that I can "accidentally" bump into Willy and shake his hand.

I think Steve's style would complement Julie Doiron quite nicely.
