Yesterday through CL, I picked up a bulk eraser for $20, eight 1/4" Ampex reels on metal flanges ($20), and a Revox PR99 MK3 ($30). The bulk eraser works but I've yet to see about the rest. Oh, and go fuck a whale, Trifecta.

First thing I had to do was clean the pots with some Caig. One I took out of the cabinet to clean. The other I didn't take out and just fished the tube in thru the tubes and was able to get to the back of the pots that way (totally lazy way to do it). After that they both worked well. I'm going to recap both mine in the next few weeks. It looks like an easy job. I will pm you with a list of the caps when I get it together.
