His fault.
Ok, but I guess what I was asking is who's fault is when this kid winds up in a coma from random fans stomping him?
Of course, I agree that he opened the door to it but the singer could have easily just told security to simply eject him instead going on a kill-crazy rant. I think it was really irresponsible how he handled it.

Do you know what would happen if you did? I would kick your ass. End of story. Or, at the very least, I would have a solid and spirited attempt at it.
If I were in a fortunate position to be on a huge stage in front of several thousand people, possibly coked off my gourd, I may ask the crowd to do it for me but I don't see that happening too soon.
I don't see what you're getting yourself all wound up about. Unless it was you who did the bottle throwing in the clip? Was it?

Are you sure everything is ok with you? A 13 year old got yelled at in a threatening manner from a huge guy because he threw a shoe at him. I can see why Adam finds it funny, but I really can't see why it has become an issue worth of 4 pages here, or articles anywhere else. If I was in a shit mood and I would get hit with a shoe I can see myself punching a 13 year old (you know, 13 years old look different from 4 year olds). Does that make me the biggest jerk among fans of rock music? And what should have happened to him? What the fuck?
Was it your son?
I have no sons.
Yes, believe me, I would want to smack this kid also. I'm just saying that the guy in the band turned a simple ejection into a potentially deadly situation. How am I the only one who sees this? Is this what RR feels like? So misunderstood...waa..

100% is normally an unachievable target

Wasn't me. The only thing I'd throw is a blackberry pie.
I'm just saying that people die at these big events:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pearl_Jam# ... .80.932001
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Limp_Bizki ... oversies_2
The people on the stage shouldn't push the odds closer to this happening.

I'm with ya man.
Calling somebody out in a small club filled with adults, where the confrontation will be with the performer personally is one thing. Hiding behind security while inciting a crowd of thousands to fuck up a 12 year old is a douchebag move. If you are going to be playing a huge show for a bunch of children you need to treat things differently than you would at a Jesus Lizard show.

If I played a huge outdoor festival first thing I would do is hurl lawn darts into the crowd

I know nobody else finds this story as hilariously pathetic as me, but there is more (to me) hilarity to be had!
Having threatened much arse-kicking at length, called a child a 'faggot' and girl-thrown a bottle/shoe at the child while the child was being held by security, Josh Hommes declares himself
'never too sick to fight'!
A tool, yes. But a hilarious tool. More of this please.

I mean, that part of it is hilarious. He might as well pick on a puppy.
Someone should have launched some hot chicken soup at him.
