Frances Bean Cobain Is Letting Her Father Down

Seeing as I unwittingly started this whole thing in the first place, I'd like to stress that I wasn't trying to be critical or mean-spirited towards Frances Bean Cobain when I launched this thread. I simply found it amusing and a bit ironic that in 1992 Kurt Cobain appeared on the cover of Rolling Stone wearing a T-shirt saying "Corporate Magazines Still Suck" and he had nothing good to say about the rag ... and now his daughter is an intern for the same magazine, doubtless because her parents are famous musicians. I don't think that using her celebrity heritage in this way is entirely a bad thing -- let's face it, most folks will use whatever advantage they have to get a job they want -- and I agree that life has dealt her a rather harsh hand and it's encouraging that she has the good sense to prepare herself to get a real job in the real world. That doesn't make the notion of her working for Rolling Stone any less curious to me.
