I went to see Morrissey at the end of last year in Manchester. My girlfriend is a fan.

I’ve seen him a few times now. His band (assuming he hasn’t changed it in the last few months) is the best I’ve seen him with. It was a really good show. I've been skeptical in the past but he seems to get better and better... maybe I'm being brain washed?

I didn’t take photo’s of the shirt changing… sorry Peripatetic.

Fans are always begging to have their photo taken with him... look at this aging fan clinging to the Moz:

i am sad to report it turns out the cheapest tickets for moz are $45 (in addition to ticketmaster fees since it's the only way to purchase without driving an hour and a half)!!! i am thinking about boycotting, but it's a tough call--two tickets plus gas prices and beverages is an entire electric bill. what a bastard ass.

Come ooonnnnn! That's the reason to listen to the Smiths. The lyrics, his voice. Sure, Marr wrote great music, but it wouldn't be half as good without the Moz.

I wanna go home
I don't wanna stay
Give up education
As a bad mistake

Mid-week on the playing fields
Sir thwacks you on the knees
Knees you in the groin
Elbow in the face
Bruises bigger than dinner plates

I wanna go home
I don't wanna stay

Belligerent ghouls
Run Manchester schools

Spineless bastards all ...

Same old jokes since 1902

He does the military two-step
Down the nape of my neck

I wanna go home
I don't want to stay
Give up life
As a bad mistake

Please excuse me from gym
I've got this terrible cold coming on
He grabs and devours
He kicks me in the showers

Kicks me in the showers
And he grabs and devours

I want to go home
I don't want to stay...

HELL YEAH! Morrissey live in Mass!

Skuldt wrote:I have no comment on his music, but according to David Johansen in a 2004 interview on Fresh Air, Morrissey was the head of the New York Dolls fan club when he was a teenager.

The Moz was definitely "around" in the punk days, going to Joy Division shows and seeing the Sex Pistols and all that.
