definitely jimmy chamberlin and josh freese...they're wicked. joey waronker (spelling?) from beck's band is cool too. and whoever drummed on the first mars volta record is insane. i always liked geezer butler from black sabbath too. oh, and no mention of steve gadd yet? for shame...his stuff with paul simon is super cool, in particular the "one trick pony" album. oh and phil collins, if only for "in the air tonight."

this might seem to be an unusal choice, but I pick Weezer's Pinkerton. I love Pat wilson's playing. I think he what he plays sounds so perfect with the band's songs.

Geezer Butler is the bassist. Bill Ward is the drummer.

The guy from Groop Dogdrill is/was a great full-on, dumb-ass rock and roll player.

They only stood out by the fact that there lead singer was there drummer who had his kit at the front. All the guitarists stood at the back.
