I can't say that a power tool battery idea is wrong but there would need to be some basic figuring out.It seems like going on stage has gotten a lot more complicated over the years. I just had a couple of battery powered boxes and would replace my battery every month. Only when I got a digital delay stomp did I need a power supply (batteries would run out too quick). Recharging stuff on tour seems like it could be kind of an effort even if you were staying in hotels and not showering at truck stops.

We actually need squirrel-powered pedalboards.

And you wouldn't have to run DI or to a mixer at all, as you can get phantom power supplies for like $30 that have XLR in and out and a PSU.

Dang, hello, that's a big bowlful of "It took a rechargeable pedalboard post to get Zom out of the wood work".

I'd be into it. I have some pedals that sound markedly better with batteries than power supplies, some are super noisy with power supplies. It would only need about 1-2 hours of charge.(Didn't read much past the first post, maybe this has already been covered)
