Indeed, yes it is. It's also the little sister to the Bandit 65.

I've often had the dream of just getting a couple Bandit 65 combos for either my noisy rock rig, or as stereo power amps with speakers for Helix. I always thought the Bandit 65s sounded terrible in a heartwarming way; like a warm memory of childhood camping where you were cold and hungry for half the trip.

Robert Quine famously liked the Bandit, and I think that was what the Pixies mostly used on their first album. Plus, all those boomers who traded in their vintage Fender stuff in for new Peaveys. Much like that camping trip - how could it not work?
