I saw Fugazi a couple of times, but I’m still pissed at my mom for not letting me see them the first time they came through Arizona in May 1989. I was a junior in high school, but I was flunking out of everything and she was cracking the whip. There was a rumor that they played standing on their heads.

It seemed like Grohl was the one to make a big deal about that in the recent Conan interview, who grew up around DC. Novoselic and Albini, from more remote places, didn't say as much.
