Appeared in my feed. New Zealand band called The Beths have an upcoming album. I really like this song, and the other two singles are good too.
this is great
Agreed. Great song. Built like a brick shithouse.

I was ready to hate this Panda Bear/Sonic Boom (Animal Collective, Spacemen 3 dudes) record but I find it both curious and pleasant.

Keeps getting better after every listen, and I've counted four so far. Fourteen songs of blissful, concise, oft-fuzzy pop songs. +1 on covering "Fluff" as the closer.

^ Good one. Thanks for sharing it. Kind of Teenage Fanclub with a commitment to the Big Muff.

For those who cannot read twig writing, the band is Chat Pile. I think they are from Oklahoma?
Reminds me a lot of our very own friends Austerity Program. Check it out!
Edit: I should have looked in C/NC. Still, a great record and I stand by the recommendation.

oh man i've been binging on their whole catalogue, sooo good. they're amazing live, as showcased by the auckland 2020 vid, and their guitarist/producer is keeping the prf spirit alive in nz
i find the only problem with this kind of music is the sugar high can be exhilarating in the moment but sometimes i feel kinda drained afterwards...

Early this year Amber Mark released her debut LP "Three Dimensions Deep", and it's a mad groove.
Kehlani's Blue Water Road isn't bad at all. "Altar" is the right kind of 80s channeling. "Melt", "Wish I Never" and "More Than I Should" are good songs.
Anticipating drops by Jenevieve and Ari Lennox on the 9th. Ari has an EP out and it's aight but not outstanding.
And UMI has an album out! Damn it's all happening.
