72That's cool and thank you. For the most part I'm posting about these records while getting into them, after not paying attention to music for a while, and its great to discuss them.
Hiding Places is awesome, i agree. Deeply personal.

73That new Billy Woods album is fantastic, both musically and lyrically. Armand Hammer came through here a few weeks ago, and BW did a solo show. I wish I found out about it before it happened and not after.

74i am so fucken tired of kendrick lamar lmao
i still havent listened to his new LP. i quit caring about this guy completely when TPAB came out. crazy that it's been ten years since his Good Kid MAAD City album. THAT one will be remembered as a classic, because it deserves to be remembered as one.

75A couple more Swedish hits.
I recently fell in love with Nigma (the chick in the third video). Her voice and flow is total fire. Not many songs out yet sadly.

77Agree. I tried to like Kendrick after GKMC but I just can't. Not that there aren't a few good tracks, but mostly it feels to me like he's trying too hard. Sometimes artists reach a point with critical acclaim that appears to provide them with a feeling that they can do no wrong, or whoever used to provide "no" stopped doing so.stompy wrote: Thu Jul 28, 2022 6:13 pmi am so fucken tired of kendrick lamar lmao

78This is a goof, but goddamn it had me laughing in some spots. It takes some effort to stay with it, but totally pays off

80I like a few r.a.p. ferreira tracks I've heard but dude is Bob Pollard prolific and I doubt I can keep up.
