Killing people in order to stop the killing seems a little too close to "we had to destroy the village to save the village" for this drug sucking hippy. Besides, those people you are suggesting become targets won't be concerned with the horror of their own being shot, they'll spend all their energy touting their effectiveness at sacrificing the lambs.

Repeating firearms are military weapons and no civilized country should allow private ownership of them. If you want a gun that can only hold one or two rounds and which can't be reloaded in a quick and easy way, that's fine. You could hunt a turkey or whatever with that.

Currently guns outnumber people. If we ever deal with that, next we'll have to deal with the "ghost guns" that are bought part by part and assembled at home in secret.

Maybe, but there'll be less of them promoting and lobbying.

Thanks to the nonsensical power structure of the US government, you'd be better off sending your sacrificial lamb to hang around outside the Supreme Court. Before November.

I've been pouring as much as I can from my salary into Irish investments so I can attempt to get a residency visa; I imagine I'll have the required investment amount and net worth by about the time I'm 150 years old.
