Re: Virtual Home Studio Setups
71I've been on v. 8 and haven't upgraded. Haven't used manager in a couple of years. Hope their support doesn't get shitty.
After my PC crashed I’ve only installed the Izotope plug-ins that I use the most. Thought I see if there’s anything worth reinstalling last weekend. Could no longer sign in to the manager, tried to install the new manager which just would not install properly . Stuff like that drives me nuts!Kniferide wrote: Mon Sep 23, 2024 2:53 pm I've been on v. 8 and haven't upgraded. Haven't used manager in a couple of years. Hope their support doesn't get shitty.
FWIW I logged into and updated to the new version of Manager with no issues and everything seems to be working OK for me, including plugin updates.bassdriver wrote: Mon Sep 23, 2024 3:39 pmAfter my PC crashed I’ve only installed the Izotope plug-ins that I use the most. Thanks for checking! Will have to look into it next weekend. I wasn’t able to log in with the old manager version and the new version just wouldn’t work.Kniferide wrote: Mon Sep 23, 2024 8:17 pmFWIW I logged into and updated to the new version of Manager with no issues and everything seems to be working OK for me, including plugin updates.bassdriver wrote: Mon Sep 23, 2024 3:39 pmAfter my PC crashed I’ve only installed the Izotope plug-ins that I use the most. Izotope Ozone also has reference tools that are pretty good. It's got a lot more going on (being a mastering channel strip), but worth checking out depending on your needs. You get Total Balance Control for free with it, which is a nice, but simple reference tool.
You mean the Izotope Ozone that I already have? *forehead slap*. I didn't even think to look into that, I just have an Ozone master chain set up in that always on my master bus, and I like it for my bullshit nonsense that I forgot it can do a lot of things. Meanwhile, if anything just sounds like Marked Men I'm happy and this probably isn't the way hahacakes wrote: Wed Sep 25, 2024 10:28 amIzotope Ozone also has reference tools that are pretty good. Yeah, do you have Total Balance Control as well? It gets automatically installed with any Izotope product.TylerDeadPine wrote: Wed Sep 25, 2024 10:52 amYou mean the Izotope Ozone that I already have? *forehead slap*.
