I've spent a few weeks imagining this setup, then got the opportunity to start building it. The FlipVol is used as an expression pedal for volume, funny enough. The difference is the volume block is set to a minimum value of 65% and there's no issue with tone suck. It feels like taking the wheel when it comes to controlling gain levels, I wish I was using a volume pedal before! I just love that there's an FX Loop effect that can be placed in any block in the Ampero. It's not a terribly complicated setup, considering. The four foot switches at the bottom are compressor, boost, distortion, boost, and the two footswitches on the right are different pitch shifts: a 7th up+Octave down and a detune of 25% for a subtle chorus-like effect. The Plethora is used for modulation: vibrato, tremolo, flanger, univibe, and also some reverb and then there's that sweet, sweet analog delay pedal that's been on every pedal board I've ever had. I generally only use one modulation effect at a time and mix it with delay, but the pitch shifts have become a nice go-to for extra layers. The second and third footswitch on the Ampero are for changing up the EQ voicing. Lots of tones and fun stuff, without being overwhelming. I don't think I've ever used more than 3 effects at a time on a song.

Who needs a buffer when you're direct in?
(The Ampero Control has a bank up and down when you press two footswitches on the left or right. I'm a clumsy foot guy, so I made sure 3 banks up and 3 banks down are the same configurations)
