The nearest Taco John's to me is in Nevada. This makes me very, very sad as there is little reason to go to Nevada. Perhaps for my next Vegas wedding...

Aren't there like 5 million little Mexican joints in California? Wouldn't those be better anyways than Taco John's?

It's like some people I known who talk about Jack in the Box. I had their taco's way back, and they didn't really rise much above dog food, from what I remember.

I've never been to Taco John's, although I do see them when I'm in Wisconsin. I always imagine them to be like Taco Bell. Am I mistaken about this?

It's better than taco bell, but you know, it's all about the novelty.
Like picking up some not so hot girl at a bar once and awhile even though you are married to a really hot girl, that sort of thing. Just a change of pace to keep you from going insane.
If there were one next door to my house I'd go a few times then I'd be sick of it I'm sure.
I'm sure it has something to do with the fact that the only time I've ever gone to taco John's was on the way out of Canada after spending two weeks in the woods eating nothing but fish we caught. Seemed like the most delicious thing I've ever eaten.

Yeah I make better burritos at home than most burrito places as well, but I'll tell you what....San Diego, man.....those are some serious taco trucks they have down there. So delicious, so cheap.
I was paying a buck each for giant fish burritos outside our hotel last time we went, best burrito I've ever even heard of existing.

Given a choice between a taqueria and a Taco Bell, I'll go to the taqueria if at all possible.

Man, I find it hard to believe that Mexican food in CA is that bad.

Have you been to Chicago and gotten food from local Mexican restaurants? There's about a million of them that are good, or at least more palatable than Taco Bell's.

I live near the "Italian" neighborhood in St. Louis, known as The Hill. There are at least 10 delis within a 6 block radius. The Italian sausage with peppers and onions or a hot salami sandwich beats anything a chain deli can produce.

you are gonna get the same amount of time if you get caught pulling an armed robbery, no matter where you rob, why would risk it robbing a fucking sandwich shop? To get what, maybea grand at the very very most? There's a bank right down the street, currency exchange, armored cars driving all over....yet you rob a fucking subway. Real smart.

Taco Tuesday and Taco Bravo Thursday are my favorite days of the week.
