Snowblinder had an all metal EGC bass w/ a P-bass body that he didn't jive with. Not sure who had that 500, I think it was someone who just posted in the old EGC thread who wasn't a regular forum member.

I have one of ^those^. Great amp to share for bass and guitar duty at lower volumes. Stay friendly with the neighbours. Would be cooler to have a "real" one and a place to turn up but here I am in the basement with my 4th tier Geezer and Dead Meadow riffs

Ohsees (or whatever they're called now?) did a radio session recently, the host asked why he wasn't playing his see-through guitar, Dwyer said that he was pretty sure the guy who made it was "dead." Seemed pretty clear that they'd had a falling out of some kind.

Sounded familiar. From KEXP last year, just watched it again.

"Yeah, the clear guitar just started becoming, uh, cumbersome... heavy, and couldn't get parts for it anymore. I think the guy that made it died, I can't get in touch with him, so - make sure you put that in the interview - uh, yeah, little bit for him. Harry Dean Stanton's slappin' him up in heaven right now."

Note: I do not endorse the above comments but I do think John Dwyer has a very impressive hairline for a fella his age
