I fail to see how anyone of sound mind could watch that and say "ooh, motherfucker, there's a real president."
Exactly.

Yes, voters should have tactical! One candidate was a for-real Fascist!

The Blind Dead could see that douchey Gavin Newsom is the DNC's chosen one.

Say what you will about MAGA, but undecided voters are the dumbest people on the planet. Those are the "independents" that Trump won. They don't watch debates, they might see a headline and make a decision based on a few words. They voted for Trump because a non-successful business person in America doesn't have a TV show about them. Nuance to these people extends to whether or not boiled water is hot. These are the motherfuckers who decide our fate in every modern election. At least MAGA they pay attention, even if it's to conspiracy theories and lies. Their brains are actively turned into mush. Undecided voters were born with mush for brains.

Definitely, though it was a race to the bottom this last time around. You also had . . .

. . . Hispanic and other immigrant communities who didn’t think they’d be targeted for repression

. . . People who thought Trump and Harris would be equally bad on foreign policy (Hillary Clinton was awful—orders of magnitude worse than any mainstream Democrat since—but even she wouldn’t have fucked up trade in a manner so badly that the US will never again be trusted)

. . . MAHA people.

"I usually don't vote, cause I figure they're all crooks anyhow!"

Like dude you're kind of right but in the dumbest way, so you're terribly wrong.

People often vote on the basis who dresses the sharpest/smartest, as shown by my own empirical studies 15 years ago.

This Fetterman cat seems easily baffled.

Also, who would have thought that betting in "prediction markets" (LOL, is there anything more "American" than this name?) on Iran and Khomeni would turn ugly.

Fuckinhell.

You’ve lived through 12 year of Bush presidencies, you should know how this works by now.
