Tina Turners music in the 80s/90s wasn't exactly my thing but there are *lots* of gems on the records with Ike (yeah I know it may not be in good taste to bring up Ike in this context...) though the albums tend to be uneven; I can recommend the comp "Funkier than a mosquitos tweezer" which has lots of cool stuff in a funk/soul/rock/blues fusion style. When she had the right material, she killed it and live, it was even better... one hell of a performer who influenced numerous future classic rock-era frontman dudes in spite of being female. R.I.P.!!!
