I feel that Noem was fired because the Trump administration is desperate for approval for the war in Iran, because numbers are nowhere near as good as they were for the 2003 war in Iraq. So
anything that is dogging the entire Trump administration/agenda numbers are going be a huge damper. Not to mention Noem is far, far, far from the first loyalist to be thrown under the bus.
I heard, though unverified, that the name of the operation, Epic Fury, was to override the possible google searches for Epstein, so when you type "E+P", it will fill out Epic Fury before Epstein. However, the funny part in that is that I've heard the reference to this as the Epstein War, not Epic Fury, on more than a handful of occasions by more than a handful of people of high and low positions, so we'll see how that plays out with organic search.
I already tried this myself with google and typing "E+P" and waiting a second, I get Jeffery Epstein.
And don't forget all the "This is what we're fighting for" memes that have been popping up like weeds across social media.
It's like, each folly begets a new folly to cover the last. I just don't know if a growing list of follies leads to an improvement. I am not convinced average Americans are ready for war with Iran, especially if gas prices rise. We'll see how the oil producers in the gulf step up, if they can (we'll see how effective Iran is at bombing the shit out of them).
