I went there the first time for lunch today. It's my first time in Chicago. We're off to a good start. I got the Mastodon and the person I was with got the Black Sabbath. The only crappy thing about it was how I felt afterwards.

How busy is it during lunch these days? I'm taking Thursday off -- have a friend in town for the Orioles/Cubs series -- and am thinking of heading over there before catching a baseball game. Are we cool for grabbing a table if we get there at like 11:45 or so?

Also, somewhat related to Kuma's, I've been buying pretzel bread mini-buns and baguettes from the Federal Plaza Thursday afternoon farmer's market. The mini-buns make for great sliders and even better breakfast sandwiches. Well worth picking up if you work downtown.

I'm not a jambalaya fan but that looks absolutely incredible. Yum.

Had a Pantera, Medium.
Man is that a good fucking burger.

Was busy but we got a seat rigth away. They still remember my wife, not me, I wait an hour when she's not with me. When she's there, boom table right away.

She had the Lair of the Minotaur, bloody. I don't know how you rare people do it. Cook the motherfucker! Her plate looked like a murder scene.
