Depends how much delay you want, as it's closer to spring-style reverb that can get "out there"/almost delay-ish, but the Mantic Proverb V2 is worth looking into:

It's a fine pedal either way.
Yes, yes that looks promising.

As a whole, the Proverb V2 really does sound stellar. The oscillations can get loud/cacophonous/trippy rather quickly, but the reverb sounds lived-in, pleasing to the ear, and provides a lot of flexibility..

Like something that basically momentarily dimes the feedback knob so the thing gets stuck in a self-perpetuating feedback noise loop till you let up? I've done that on a number of delay pedals i've built. Its quite an easy extra addition.

If all you are looking for is a footswitch to max the feedback/repeats, there are a lot of them: Caroline Kilobyte, Catalinbread Belle Epoch Deluxe, Walrus ARP-87, Strymon El Capistan (has a feedback hold but you can also assign any knob to an expression pedal), etc.

BUT, if you want something a little more wacky, the DOD Rubberneck comes to mind but I'm sure there a couple of newer ones out there.

yeah, I know the TC Electronic Flashback 2 has a switch you can hold for feedback swells. Probably pretty easy to find used (I currently have it in a multi modulator package)

I have installed jacks on a few delay pedals that uses a synth sustain pedal to just short the Feedback pot and go full throttle. Usually space to dig in where the battery goes, and I don't use batteries. You can do it to any delay pedal that isn't using some kind of encoder controller. You could also install the same style of jack to feed the out back into the in of any pedal and make it freak out, especially flangers and shit.

Speaking of flangers, if you have a flanger (maybe a chorus too) you don't care about, there are trim pots inside that control the delay and feedback, you can crank those and they will sound like BLUBBABLUBBABLUBBA SKWREEEEEEEEEE! If you ever want it to sound the old way again, mark the original settings or you will never get it back

Here's one - a simple reverb pedal with a "Shimmer" setting that has an expression pedal input that allows you to dial in how much of the "shimmer" mix you want.

Don't say the Astral Destiny, it has too many features.

Did this with a Memory Toy. Inexpensive and very effective.

Only thing I can think of that's even close would be Boss RV-6 - only 4 knobs & one is a selector type. The only thing is that I'm pretty sure the exp controls overall reverb mix/amount and not just singling out the shimmer if that's what you are looking for.

Yeah, and I remember the Shimmer mode on the RV-6 was kind of "meh."

I feel like the Catalinbread Cloak is what I'm feeling after sound/function-wise, but damn if only it had the EXP input...
