Michael Richards came to our school's Open House tonight.

Our event photographer, a lovely woman named Lavonne, was doing her job of photographing the goings-on.

Mr. Richards, apparently, did not want her to photograph him, and confronted her. She told him she was not photographing him per se, but rather the gathering of people.

He then went to complain to our director of education.

Class.

Later on, as I was knee-deep in Profoto lighting equipment, he asked me about digital camera equipment. He was very polite to me.

Kramer is a Nikon guy. Hmmm. That says a lot.

Rotton Tanx- that was a shitty thing for her to do. No excuse. She is not worth your time.

So, the new place is coming together quite nicely. God, it is SO much nicer than our old apartment. So big, and quiet, and modern amenities... I haven't lived even CLOSE to this well since I moved out of my parents house.

Our old landlord was essentially a slumlord (our neighbors complained of rats in their house and he told them, "what are you afraid of? It's just a little mickey mouse!" and did nothing about it...) who would always ignore our calls when something was wrong and threatened to evict us when we complained that the stove was leaking gas. So, apparently he lost his keys to the place and keeps asking me to leave a key for him so he can show the place and bring painters in. I told him that we paid through the end of the month, and I'll be happy to give the keys to him if he refunds the remaining month's rent. He, of course, didn't want to do this, so I have been ignoring his daily phone calls about the issue. I wonder if he gets the irony.

yesterday on my way to work, i'm at a red light and i look to my right. i see a smallish, dirty, old dodge. driving this dodge was a man with what could be a textbook mullet (if textbooks were not the mongoose to the mullet's cobra) i could only see his left hand, it had several tattoos on it. he had at least three gold rings on.

then i could see his right hand. totally holding a beer.

then he put on some wrap around sunglasses.

then he leaned out the window and spat.

he was a perfect storm.

DNA Concept wrote:Over the line from "shy" to "markedly pathological". Being reticent and nervous is all well and good but if she engages in this sort of behavior it's more like control freakery -- if she can't handle so mild a situation she should stay in the fucking house and not form relationships. That's not even a way to treat people you don't like. And her friend isn't pulling her weight either, leaving both of you hanging in the wind like that.

My advice is not so much "some people suck, don't let it get to you" as "this person has a major problem and isn't worth engaging with at really any level." Your read of the situation is not at fault in the least.

You smart people are smart. I have just severed all electronic ties with this girl and although I can't really afford to lose friends I think it's better to be lonely than treated like shit.

Thanks for all the kind and reassuring words. Salut EA, the angel (and devil) on my shoulder!

Look at it this way......if she freaked out that bad when you just just tried to talk to her imagine the first time you made a move to touch her snizz, blood would shoot out of her fucking eyeballs

sounds like a bunch of bullshit, forget her
