I already have a homemade TL606 with an Eminence Gamma 15A which sounds OK, but this might be a lighter-weight upgrayedd for me.

I went and looked at this today. Cab was way smaller than a TL. Speaker dust cap had been reglued, poorly. Grill frame was broken. It was also heaver than I would have expected. Probably made of MDF. I passed.

Ha ha I thought no way it's 32 ohm, look here i found the schematic no way. Called back, yes i still want it.
Turns out...someone did indeed put a 32ohm output transformer in it.
Sooooooooooooo time to put in another OT. Joke's on me!

Never seen a 32 ohm cab. Bet it still sounds great and works fine with a 16 ohm guitar cab. I think the only 16 ohm bass cabs I’ve ever seen were the Ampeg B25B cabs that were also switchable to 4 ohms.

16ohm speakers are common enough, he might already have an 8 ohm cab that could be wired in series for 32 - try that see if it sounds good??

Just don't buy the overpriced Mercury Magnetics OT that they specifically advertise for this amp. I'd find something like a Bandmaster OT and drop that in there.
Something like this, which will give you 4, 8, & 16 ohm output taps:

Vintage Magnavox-era SVT for $600 in NH. Mislabeled as an SVT-CL. Sounds like it might need some minor work, but the price is right.

Actually it's $500, and the seller would meet up within 30 minutes of me. Really don't need another SVT though, but maybe someone I know does. If anyone here desperately needs this and wants me to hold it til you can pick up an 85 pound amp in person though... let me know, I guess!
