You other nerds failed to talk me out of it. It needs some work which I'm going to detail in the projects thread because it might be of use, but otherwise I see why you love this guitar - it's on the level with any other good les paul I've played, and there's something spectacularly aggressive/raw about the pickups. They're high enough output already so I'm not swapping them.

Peavey Foundation bass.
It's left handed and going for 280 with the case. The thing sounds incredible through the pawn shop Crate I played it through.
I play guitar but would like a bass to fart around with, maybe play in a band as just a guy and not a contributing member.

I played a fretless Foundation exclusively for about 10 years. It is a perfectly functional instrument. If you're a lefty then this is a no-brainer.
