One of the other sessional instructors where I work has strange, swept back hair and is extremely earnest. These things and the fact that he says "Great Scott!" when surprised or amazed are his defining features.
He knocked his coffee over onto a pile of student papers today, soaking them, and exclaimed, "Great Scott!"
I nearly bit clean through the inside of my cheek.

Bastard empty 24 packs of beer.
Making me think I have twice as much beer as I actually do!
And making a trip to the supermarche beer deposit waiting line necessary.

Salut! on that first picture, thorr. They all are great, but this one is spectacular. You all look tremendously happy, but Araya has a Walt Whitman glow that I would be happy to see on any grill, but on a metal god...so great.
Glad you had fun.
A detail from my day--I am witnessing a kaleidescope of mental conditions in my boss. I am smiling. I thinking of stabbing. I am wondering how to dispose of a small man-body. I am about to go to a nice dinner.

Is that Slayer?
How does Zippy know Slayer?
Isn't there supposed to be a bald bloke called Sarah or something?
Why is Zippy called Zippy?

That's just Tom Araya of Slayer, the other guys run Ideal skateboards.
They visit Ideal everytime they're in town, this time they gave us all passes gawd bless 'em...
Why is Zippy called Zippy? Don't know...'cause of his big mouth maybe?
A bald bloke called Sarah? Dunno...

Finished my band's new record at 5.30 this morning. Sending it off to John Golden for mastering today. Hallelujah! That fucker's been weighing heavy on my shoulders for some time now. I'm so glad to be rid of it. Tell you what though, in one month I'll probably feel so empty and desperate for something to do that I wish I had the bastard task of mixing to do again....

i went for a couple of beers last night with my girlfriend. whilst in the pub a group of drunken englishmen started throwing beermats at each other. their aim was kinda shit so a couple went astray and hit us. i asked them if they'd just fling em the other way which they did for a while. everything was fine and then BAM! i got one right in the eye. before i had time to do the maths i had walked over to the 8 of them (theres only 1 of me remember) and demanded an apology. i immediately wished i hadn't because i knew and they knew i was asking for a good beating. i was saved in a strange way as one of them spilt a full bottle of amyl nitrite (poppers, brown bottle etc) on himself, stumbled off his chair and got sick on the floor before collapsing in to it. my asskicking got postponed long enough for me to disappear without an englishman's foot up my ass.

Simmo, you finished your record, and I decided to do that National Solo Album Month thing again, so now I am "obligated" to finish a whole record in 27 days.
I've done it before, but this time might be difficult, time-wise.

Damn it! They didn't visit Ideal any time during 1992/3 when I was working next door.
I like Tom's beard.
