* I can perform spot-on imitations of almost anyone you could be pained to mention.
* I haven't had a drink in six and a half years.
* I'm proud of my music [plug] [see sig].
* I am in graduate school studying something I enjoy.
* I buy my clothes at thrift stores and Target. Except shoes and jeans.
* I don't care about being cool anymore.

I'm impressed, especially with the items I took the liberty of emboldening.

-Was an extra in Mallrats.
-Wrote a play that was produced off-Broadway when I was 18, and met Arthur Miller and Trini Alvarado when they came to see it. Most critics liked it, but John Simon of New York magazine called it "a slice of life crying out for butter, cheese, or meat."
-Won a trophy in the 1995 Minnesota State Pinball Championschips.
-Saw Silkworm twice - at the OK Hotel in early 1991 and at the 7th Street Entry a decade later.
-Almost ended up visiting Electrical on Thanksgiving 1999 after having a holiday dinner with The Sadies, but didn't get in a cab at the last minute and ended up there for the first time last Wednesday instead.

No, but my undergraduate degree is in, yes sir, English.
I had that coming; alas, my proofreading skills could stand some sharpening.
Thanks for the peer edit. I've corrected the original draft.

the 60-second peeing actually occurred during this charity fast-thing. i wasn't eating, so i was drinking a TON of water. then i went to sleep. when i awoke, i could barely walk. i almost peed for 60 seconds all over myself. but it makes for a rather funny story, and a good pickup line at parties.
for bowling a "1": i figured "anyone can bowl a zero. it takes at least SOME skill to bowl a one." to this day, i am a terrible bowler. my high score is 100 even.
shameless self-promotion: for those of you in the Madison area, you can see me on Thursday, November 3rd at the Comedy Club on State (119 State Street). 8:30 show. this is what i do instead of heroin.

I've never been in a "real" band, but I have been in bands that have opened for Admiral / Green Day (at a basement party), Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, and Rain Like the Sound of Trains / Hoover (featuring ex-members of Admiral).

I'm not much better. I think my lowest score is twenty-three. Despite my best efforts, I think my highest score is, oh, 153?
Quite a few years ago, I was in a bowling league with a couple of pals from school. Now, this was not serious bowling: every person at Huntsville Lanes was, for all intents and purposes, embalmed . I had the lowest average in the league; as a result, I had the highest handicap. My handicap allowed our team, the Tuesday Night Texas Tenpin Triple Terror, to take home the league plaque. Hey, that's kinda cool.
