Pipedown is the only one I can think of. Listening to their albums they sound like the wouldn't deliver live (especially vocal-wise.) But every time I have a seen them they blow me away.

A recent show and one from long ago come to mind.
ESG at ATP in Camber Sands 2004 was amazing.
The Specials at the Main Act in Lynn Ma, circa 1980-81?, was beyond amazing.
If you couldn't move your body to either show, you might as well just call it quits.
