Isn't there one with Jesus rocking out to a guitar player too? I love those. I love how Jesus is apparently storing chestnuts in his face in every single picture.

I love--secularly--the artist's story.

Mainly just the part about deciding to take something up and doing it. Not the nutty Jesus parts.


And yes, Jesus was the original zombie. I don't think the zombie concept would exist without his inspirational tale.

jesus existed, but he wasn't white. that's for damn sure. I don't see how there is any debate over his existence, there was man that called himself jesus. whether he is god/son of god is what should be debated.

But it's a nice story, like a lot of the nice stories of saviour gods/cults etc from the Iron Age. This one just happened to go mainstream.

I'm no expert on this...but...

Aren't there non-Christian sources that document there was a Jesus in the appropriate time and place...Roman records of executed criminals or something like that?

A quick google for "evidence of historical Jesus" reveals lots of hits. Here are a couple of the top ones.

Seems like, at a minimum, there is a healthy debate to be had regarding Jesus as a historical figure. Not that I'm the one to conduct it on either side.
