I only heard their myspace songs.
After reconsidering it and letting the songs sink in, I guess they really aren't different.
But I definitely agree with the sentiment that this is for metal dabblers not metal fans.
Unless they have indeed begun playing stuff that's drastically different from their myspace stuff.

And I don't mean "dabblers" judgmentally. There's nothing wrong with taking a metal break from your usual listening. I can definitely hear how this would be appealing as such. The musicianship itself is damn good to my ears, and it has that satisfying gallop-and-rush of power metal.

I find this band amazing in that they sound
exactly like Nuclear Assault. Maybe I haven't heard enough Nuclear Assault or Municipal Waste, but they sound exactly alike to me. More than any other band has sounded the same. It's impressive.

It's great. I haven't heard all of "Third World Genocide," but Municipal Waste blows it away.
Dead Child sounds like "Age of Quarrel" era Cro-Mags, but boring.
If anyone loves this shit, I have a couple of Killing Time and Icemen records I could sell you.

They do sound like those three bands. How does that work?
All three of those bands let me down when I saw them.

I'm a dabbler. I don't get metal really, so I tend to find the straight ahead approach more appealing. I really like maiden, slayer, and blind guardian. so I'm digging what I've heard so far.

I honestly can't even conceive of Alabama Thunderpussy letting anyone down at a live show, but I suppose it's possible. They're buddies of mine, not to mention one of my favorite live acts, so I've seen them many, many times. Every time, they're absolutely ferocious. Did you see them recently?
Three Inches of Blood are a blast live, but if it's not particularly your thing, they could easily turn you off.

So does that mean you are going to Club Europa to see them?
