Basically, it was a rework of the 77 BOADRUM thing - for about an hour of the set anyhow.
I dislike Terminal 5 very much. If you are under 5 foot 5 inches, do not see a show there.
At least I spent the whole show looking at Yoshimi's head. If you didn't already think she was amazing, maybe this will change your mind: she drums barefoot.

I have listened to the 77bodrums thing a bunch of times and I didn't notice it was similar at all, well I guess some of the very begining with the -boom.............boom boom............boom.............boom boom- stuff but that was only the begining, they went off in some wild directions...a lot more eye screaming this time, that crazy guitar, lotta extra effects and whatnot.....
I loved it

They came through town the Friday before last and just fucking tore it all up. Three drummers, seven necked guitar, etc. Amazing. Easily one of the best bands I've ever seen.

Anyone that thinks Joba Chamberlain should stay in the bullpen is probably a moron.

I would postulate that this is because she uses a set of Taurus pedals (or something similar) so going barefoot allows you to feel around the keys for the right note more easily whilst not looking because you're playing drums and singing at the same time. Amazing.
