1000 Hurts didn't leak, as far as I remember, and that came out right in the midst of the Napster buffet.
But, yeah, there's no good way to justify the possibility of a leak for this one... unless the leak is a completely different album, or the leak will be -- at long last -- The Futurist*
* but you know encoded at 24 kbps mp3s in mono.

I've only ever downloaded one album in my life.
Whoever does that sort of thing is silly, wait for the wax or CD like proper music fans.

Man, the wait for this album has been so long, I can't believe it's going to be released in a mere three weeks.
I just found out a couple days ago that the new Oxbow record comes out on Hydrahead the same day. June 5th is gonna be SWEET!

When 1000 Hurts came out, I was twelve years old.
Think about it like that and it really does feel like forever.
I'm pretty excited. Shellac is one of those bands where it is okay to
expect them to do what they do consistently. Just as long as there's no tracks like that bullshit number song.

I just realized that I was actually fifteen when I saw my first Shellac show. Fifteen!
And when I'll see them next week, I will be almost twice that age!

All Touch & Go LPs have been coming with a coupon to download the album in full in mp3 format. I'm imagining this will be the case with this album as well.
