The very existence of flamethrowers proves that sometime, somewhere, someone said to themselves, “You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I’m just not close enough to get the job done.” - George Carlin R.I.P

85I find it amusing that anyone would boo-hoo this decision. I don't think Greg should have had to defend the studio's reasons for acquiring this setup in the original post, and the fact that this topic is up to 5 pages is a testament that the internet is a great place to have retarded arguments.
Kudos, Electrical, for meeting the needs of your clientele.

86Who cares. Record on what you like. I record on Logic at home and at the practice space, because it makes more sense. When my bands do our major releases, they're most always done analog with a console, because I'm much more comfortable working that way and I like the longevity/archival aspect of using tape.
Just record good music.
That said, if I was going to spent the money to record at Electrical, I'd definitely use the analog machines because, well, it's faster for me, more reliable, I could take them and easily play them on the machines at the studio where I work, and I'd really want long term security for my work.
