Quitting Drinking

Quitting til July, no problem. The money saved will easily pay my gym fees and a good bike.

Quitting completely forever, unless you are an alcoholic, is crap though. There are some wonderful beers, wines & spirits to enjoy for the pleasure of drinking them; a great pity to forgo it forever because you can't stop yourself.

Yes, that's why I say "unless you are an alcoholic". But plenty of non-alcoholics too just don't know when to stop, removing most of the pleasurable experiences drinking can afford.

If you "just don't know when to stop", and this happens consistently, you most likely do meet the definition of an alcoholic. You're just in denial about being an alcoholic.

Well anyway I don't know if I am an alcoholic, but I do know that I am a glutton and a hedonist. To come to terms with my issues I need to strengthen my will, and by casting aside beer which I truly love like a long-lost brother I am tempering my will in the forges of Haephestus. HAEPHESTUS!

So I'm still on the wagon.

Drunk people are tedious.

Except for the cool ones.

My favorite MILF invited me through a friend to stay at her house tonight, as there's a party down in her neck of the woods. I decided not to attend. Do horny women have a radar that senses when guys are alone? My GF just left for England this afternoon. I won't do anything shady, but damn if it isn't uncanny.

Did I mention I could fuck my way through a brick wall right now?

Starting the Master Cleanse tomorrow, and blowing off work. They had me sweeping lead paint dust yesterday. I think I'll be quitting there soon.
