You must live in a pretty religious society I guess, Mandroid. The people I know who have had fertility problems aren't religious and don't see it is devine right to procreate. I don't know what they feel about abortion. They just have the same biological / psychological urges as most people (not everyone, of course) to raise a family.

Then why don't they adopt one of the countless children in the world who need a home?

I'd like to hear one of those couples explain to me why they have opted to undergo those fertility procedures instead of adopting. I'd really like to hear how they convinced themselves it's the right thing to do and not a horrible evil slap in the face to every orphan child out there.

Well maybe because the need is so great that they'd like to try all the biological steps first. It's a pretty successful procedure you know.

There are millions of orphans out there, alone with nobody. I'm all for adoption, but it takes on the role as a second option for most people. It's not bad to have biological children.

If everyone would just stop, look around and agree that maybe we should make sure all the children who already exist have somewhere to go before we create even more...well, I think that'd be a real decent thing for us humans to do, wouldn't it?
Someone tell me why you decided to have your own kid instead of taking a child in who didn't have a home, when everyone knows theres so many out there....tell me why, let's hear it.

In what way is it feasible to get all couples looking to have children to adopt? That's up to the couple. Maybe some kind of financial incentive, but you can't seriously expect me to frown upon having biological kids.

You're expecting everyone to work towards a common goal, and to serve humanity, when that's never the case. At least, that what it sounds like.
