Pantera were, hands down, a "good" band. In what sense? In the sense that they could probably have all suffered major head injuries, hearing loss, or mangled limbs and still managed to play their songs together as tight as a machine and christ-rapingly loud.
Whether or not one values those things in a band is another question. But if one believes that the interplay between band members - that kind you can only get when 4 people play insanely fast music with one another for a long, long time - is something to behold, then they were something to behold.

Gaggles of exotic dancers have shed their clothes to songs like COWBOYS FROM HELL and a Russian stripper stationed in South Florida calls herself Pantera. I love posts like this. Like you'd have to be a complete idiot to take time out of your rich fulfilling life to discuss this topic, but it makes perfect sense to take time out to discuss the discussion of the topic.
