Voting is nothing more than a game we get to play once in a while where we have a chance to influence who fills a position that will be filled regardless. The US is a country with first-past-the-post, single-winner district elections, which are among the worst ways to conduct a democracy and basically means your vote has squat to do with representation or endorsing a candidate, and everything to do with tactics and trying to get the least shitty outcome. Adding unfounded metaphysical baggage to the act of casting a ballot, especially with the US s crappy system, is ridiculous.
