Yeah, I don't understand why more people don't hang here on the new forum. It's so much easier to converse here compared to FB, and vibe is super good. Are folks wary of this new forum because of how the old forum could be nasty? I was hanging with a former FM recently and they mentioned that they didn't want to be associated with the PRF because of the horrible things that a member(s) of the old forum committed. They implied that there was a bad reputation out in the world for the PRF. I have no idea if that is true since I am geographically separated from a lot of the FMs. Anyways, I like it here and wish more people were here.tsesque wrote: Sun Mar 12, 2023 3:10 am I'm on here now.

For awhile I've felt like the only reason I've kept Facebook is to interact with the PRF Tribute group / post to my music page.
Deactivated FB and considering finally deleting it altogether b/c I don't care about the perpetual high school reunion or getting Likes, anymore. At this point it just feels like I'm on there asking for permission to make art and not really sure people appreciate my (admittedly mixed) attempts at humor, anyway. It's true FB is "an old man's game" at this point.
So might request monthly passwords through here in the future if / when I participate again.

Re: PRF Monthly Tribute Series: March 2023, Elvis Presley
84I deleted my Enya & Ramones tribute track submissions. I was really worn out when I did the former and was never fully happy with it (it was right after doing the big NIN remix video project) & with the latter I had never really listened to the Ramones at all until last month & I am not trying to insult the memory of Joey by doing a cover that doesn't sound like the band did or anything like that. Plus, I learned in recent weeks from his YT channel that they are one of Mr. Albini's favorite bands & I'm a natural suck-up.
