Fixed your post.

Not one of us knows everything. Stay curious. Ask questions.

Well thank you. Mans quest for knowledge should be a life long quest.

This discussion did lead me to take my Max files off an external hard drive to my laptop lol

Could probably get a steam deck to run a fast tracker clone. It's just a Linux box

Runs on Linux. Somebody with a steamdeck see if you can do this.

I found this video helpful / interesting (need to check out his other vids). I ended up buying two of the Carcosa pedals and really like them.

The Carcosa pedal is great. Sounds good on bass also. That toggle switch really helps retain the lows.

I have a contact mic situation that needs to be amplified (this is the typewriter thing...). It's to bring out more bass so I'm interested in an amp that can deliver some thump down to like 50-60Hz. It doesn't have to get terribly loud. In the band world I'd liken it to a bass player playing with an acoustic folk band kind of deal.

Any reccos? I'd look at small bass combos but I do want some flexibility to bring in high mid sources as well. Keyboard amp? The dreaded bass amp with tweeter? Powered PA speaker?
