Are y’all aware of the new BEAK> album? Best thing I’ve heard in months (and I love the new Shellac album to bits).

If anything comes out better than this album this year, I’m gonna ‘splode.

It’s 6:00 am here and I am pleased to see over an hour of my day spoken for so far. This Myriam Gendron record will be the first I didn’t preorder - unless its sitting in a box somewhere, which is possible.

Yeah I listened to it a couple times already. The first track kinda throws down the gauntlet with a very slow build, but it gets easier, I think, after that to kinda hang with it. That last track Cellophane is my favorite, currently.

Sounds like this could be good.
