I partook in the Pantera this afternoon. So delicious. I hesitate to pick a favorite, but this one is definitely up there.
Old news, but the bartender with the "There's no place like home" tattoo is gorgeous.
I was gifted a parking ticket while inside, making this Kumas experience top off at around $100. Small waffles, but still worth it.

Tried the Dark Throne, not bad but a little overpowered by the whole chipotle peppers. After the second bite that was all I could taste.
Sat at the bar by the front door and although there were at least 3-4 Kuma's chicks working, we got the dude with the beard. Nice guy and all, but god damn it.

See that new one with the black hair who works the door?

There was another new one at the door today, pretty hot but the most "normal" looking one I've ever seen there--loose brown v-neck shirt, short denim skirt, long hair, no tattoos.....for a while I thought she was a customer hanging around the door waiting for her friends or something.

Getting excited!
I hit O'Hare at 2:00pm, so I'm going to guess we're going for dinner after my friends get out of work. Details forthcoming...

No amount of hype will ruin your experience at Kuma's. It's that good. I've been craving Kuma's lately.
My plan is to go to Hot Dougs for Lunch and Kuma's for dinner on the day I'm back in Chicago. Within 24 hours I'll have Chicago coursing through my veins again!!
BTW: TY, Get an Egg on that burger!!

I'm still not even close to deciding what burger I want. Can you get toppings a la carte like that? Wouldn't it ruin the carefully constructed gourmo-burger the cooks have concocted for me? (I do enjoy a fried egg on a burger.)

The choice was so hard for me that for my first Kuma's, i just went with the band i was currently enjoying most. The second (third, fourth, etc) Kuma's visit can be more carefully planned out.
Btw, i went for the Mastodon on that first time, and i was not in the slightest disappointed. Those frizzled onions are a delight. I think i may have been quietly singing my way through the entire Leviathan album while i was devouring that fine meal.
